TableSnag

Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

Table content When you invoke TableSnag, it reads rendered table content on the current page to preview and export it. Content may include personal information present in that table. Processing takes place inside the browser. The extension does not transmit table content to the developer or third parties, and does not use analytics, advertising or remote code.

Local storage and exports Saved export setups include your chosen name, column selection, order, labels and export options. They stay in local extension storage until you delete them or uninstall the extension. Table rows are held for the current popup session, then copied to your clipboard or saved to a file at your request. Clipboard content and downloaded files remain under your control outside the extension; uninstalling does not remove those exports.

Free-first upgrade All shipped features are free. There is no account, buy link or licence-validation request. Earlier versions sent a key to Lemon Squeezy on activation and stored the returned customer email with it. Version 1.0.5 clears that legacy licence record on installation/update and whenever the popup opens, preserving saved setups. If storage is unavailable the popup reports this and retries on its next open. No new purchase email is requested or stored.

Permissions - activeTab: read the page after you invoke the extension. - scripting: run the detector on that page. - storage: keep saved setups and clear the legacy licence cache. - downloads: save your requested export. No host permissions are requested. The upgrade background worker only clears the legacy cache; it does not read pages or contact servers.

Limited use TableSnag uses website content only for its stated table preview/export purpose, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy including Limited Use. The developer does not receive, sell or use it for advertising or credit decisions.

Correction and contact Earlier wording that paid activation was entirely local was wrong. This policy describes TableSnag 1.0.5, the free version. Contact: support@winningbeans.co.uk. A support email you choose to send is separate from extension processing. Inbox delivery is a separate release check, not proven here.
